Minnie Mae Austin.
It is also a website devoted to the ancestors of both our fore bearers. My father had done extensive genealogical research into the roots of his clan and my mother's clan. While it is very interesting, in a lot of cases it has generated what I feel to be very “sterile” information. It generally consists of names, dates, and places and not a whole lot more. What I would like to do is create a time capsule for future generations. I would like them to have a better picture of we were, rather than a collection of statistics.
I supposed too, another way to look at my little project is as a scrapbook of family members easily available on the Internet.
The website and the genealogy site are collaborative tools. Sign up to view or use both. The more folks we can get involved, the more fun it will be, the better it will be.
